Fifteen Years of Wear Siluet.<\/strong> What\u2019s Next?
\nWithout ever consciously planning it, my professional life has unfolded in something<\/p>\n

of a five- and ten-year rhythm. Every now and then, I feel the need to pause, reflect<\/p>\n

on how far I\u2019ve come, and make some adjustments primarily to ensure that what<\/p>\n

I do continues to bring me joy and fulfillment.
\nThe first five years of Wear Siluet were incredibly dynamic. We were building the brand, scaling up production, and finding our niche. The next five years saw us expand into yoga and pole dance studios around the world – Wear Siluet<\/strong> was traveling and growing.
\nThen came COVID. Fitness studios shut their doors, many never to reopen and sales shifted almost entirely online. Everything suddenly slowed down.
\nYet, that slowdown gave me the time and desire to return to the tailoring work I had done long before Wear Siluet<\/strong>. Alongside the sportswear, I gradually introduced an athleisure line featuring unconventional sweatshirts, sweatpants, faux fur coats<\/p>\n

and accessories. I also revisited an old passion of mine: collage art.
\nToday, clothing design and collage art are both my work and my passion, in truth,<\/p>\n

I hardly distinguish between the two anymore. In both I explore proportions, colors \u00a0 \u00a0and materials, I piece things together and experiment to see what works. I pour a part<\/p>\n

of myself into both the clothing and the collages. They are my world.
\nAnd now, a new five-year cycle begins.
\nThe traditional e-commerce model – built on high volume, promotions, and discounts, suits me less and less. We don\u2019t carry large inventories; we produce many items only upon specific order, and very often, we sew or alter garments for a particular client.
\nI have never liked the business practice of artificially inflating prices just to offer endless markdowns later. And yes, even I have occasionally succumbed to the discount frenzy and offered certain pieces at a reduced price.
\nBut we were making them fresh at the time!
\nIt makes absolutely no sense.
\nI don\u2019t want to sell my pieces below their value. On the contrary, I want to add something extra: tailoring the fit, advising on which style flatters a specific figure, making a modification, coming up with a new idea, or adding an accessory.<\/p>\n

I want to leverage the fact that I truly know my own patterns, materials, and products.
\nI don\u2019t want to pursue quantity. I want to cherish the clients who return to Wear Siluet<\/strong> and gradually create an even more personal space around the brand.
\nA better price as a client bonus? Yes.
\nA discount just for the sake of a discount? No.
\nAnd our website is evolving to reflect this.
\nA standard online shop is no longer enough for me. I want to create a World of Siluet<\/strong><\/p>\n

a place where clothing, movement, art, and everything else that naturally emerges around them come together.
\nYou can come to shop for clothes, view the artwork, or buy a piece. Over time, you\u2019ll be able to peek into the sewing workshop and the studio, read my notes, reflections, and experiences, or interact with me directly.
\n@wearsiluet<\/strong> and @silinspiration<\/strong> are two parts of the same world. One moment you might walk through the door into the shop; the next, into the studio. We are gradually fine-tuning this space, and more content is on the way. The website is taking on a fresher, cleaner look, new items are being added to the shop, and I will gradually be opening up new possibilities.
\nBut I don\u2019t feel the need to wait until everything is absolutely perfect.
